This battery switch eliminates drainage of stored power by isolating the battery from power hungry components like clocks and it's easy to tell if it's on or not by a LED light. The LED will light up continuously at all positions when the power inputted from terminal 1 and light up only at ON position when the power inputted from terminal 2.
